[ v.d. Issel Hoeve Golden Retrievers ]

Who are we?

I'm Tonny Hoevers, married to Piet, we have two sons Edwin en Mark. We live in a little town called Dieren in Holland.

We have Golden Retrievers since 1984. First one we sold was from a breeder, who wasn't interested in clearances of the parents. Later when he was interested, it became clear that the mother of my first bitch, Tasja, had severe HD. I didn't breed with her.

So I decided to buy another bitch, but this time from a wellknown kennel. She came in 1986 to us, her name was Kathelijn Jubilee's v.d. Drunenborgh. She is the foundation bitch of my small Golden Retriever v.d. Issel Hoeve kennel. Her parents had all the clearances and so had she. She died 24 january 1996, to young to soon, and we still miss her very much.

She gave me a beautiful daughter Jersey my Origin v.d. Issel Hoeve, Jersey was a lovely bitch with nice temperament and outlooks. Placed on many Int.Shows. Thank to her I started to like obedience and show. Jersey has got the GG1, that stands for high class of obedience. Jersey died at the 25th of May 2000, I still miss her very much.

Jersey gave me some beautiful daughters, For Ever Fair Fa' v.d. Issel Hoeve, Sweet Promise v.d. Issel Hoeve(Jyna) and Treasure Trove v.d. Issel Hoeve(Queen). Fair Fa' doesn't like to show so much but is great in obedience and has won prices with that, she now lives with Janny and Nico also here in the town. She has gone to them when she was 1 year old, because they had to put asleep an agressive dog and felt deeply in love with Fair Fa'. It was love at first sight for all three of them. We see her at least once a week and she stays often here and my dogs there. She died in 2007.

Jyna likes to show very much and already has become many placings at Int. Shows, Jyna is here in the house the most selfwilled one, we think she is the "spitting image" of her grandmother "Kathy". A very, very sweet Golden with the right temperament, who as all of my dogs like to retrieve a dummie very much. We still miss, her, we had to let her go in 2007.

Treasure Trove v.d. Issel Hoeve(Queen) lives in co-ownership with Toos and Hans, also here in the neighbourhood. She has had two litters and is now retired.

Sweet Promise v.d. Issel Hoeve has become on 31 of March 2000 her second litter. This was a very good looking litter and Sweet Surprise v.d. Issel Hoeve(Janyss) stayed with us!

In 1996 came Joyous Inverness Farytale(Jocelynn) to us. A lively bitch, who is always in for a game. Likes to work and show. Always in a good mood, and if it was for her, she would go for a looooong walk the whole day.

From the third litter of Jocelynn, born on the 21st of August 2002, Warm Wishes v.d. Issel Hoeve(Joyce) stayed with us.
A lively , happy girl, see what the future will bring. Joyce her first litter was born in the summer of 2005, very sweet teddybears they were.

Sweet Surprise v.d. Issel Hoeve(Janyss) is our daughter of Jyna. Likes everything and is such a happy girl and always has a big smile on her face. She gave me two daughters, which we love all deerly

In September 2004 Vanlijnden Leader Remy(Angie) came to live with us, she was then almost one year old. After a quiet start she became a lively, happy girl, who loves to run in the fields and eat all our visitors from happiness, with her we also hope to breed some litters, ofcourse all according to the rules of the GRCN.

In December 2005 Angie became mom for the first time, from this litter Tea for Two v.d. Issel Hoeve (Nena) stayed with us, a naughty girl, as happy and lively as her mom and also as her mom sheloves to dig in waterbowls, they have to be empty and ofcourse this happens in the kitchen.

From the litter of Janyss in August 2006 one little girl stayed with us, Melody (Take Five v.d. Issel Hoeve) is her name, she is a bunch full of life, such a jou to live with her.

From the litter of Janyss in Dezember 2008, another little girl stayed with us, Caitlynn (Victorian Rose v.d. Issel Hoeve). What a sweet doggie she is.

I am a member of the GRCN(Netherland), GRC(England)).

All my Golden Retrievers live in our house and not in kennels as the puppies will be living and raised in our livingroom and that way meet many adults, children and animals and hear all the normall housesounds so they can get a good socialisation.

We ofcourse only breed with them, when they have all the clearances.
